The Bookmarks feature in Notepad3 is especially handy when working with large text file. For example; use it to mark a certain line in a source code file, for you to be able to quickly find it again.
Notepad3 allows you to have multiple bookmarks per document and never lose your bookmarks, even when closing the document.
To use bookmarks in Notepad3, go to the
Edit menu item and on the
Bookmarks sub-menu, choose one of the options. Or use the keyboard shortcuts as indicated below:
Ctrl+F2 – Bookmark current line
F2 – Go to next bookmark
Shift+F2 – Go to previous bookmark
Alt+F2 – Clear all bookmarks
